Thoughts and Words: Powerful Energies

It is a challenge to control our thoughts. We seldom think about where thoughts come from. Generally, we assume they are floating around and just happen to come into our mind. And as far as words go, many times we say things aimlessly with no real intention to follow through. We might say “I’ll try” or “I’ll call you later”, but have no real plans to actually “do instead of try to do” or there in no real intention to “call you later”. Here is the rub. Thoughts are powerful. Words are powerful. We receive what we send out. Where thoughts and words flow, energies go. Energies go and come back to us. And when nothing is working, then we wonder why no one listens, why no one seems to want to help or care. This is the energy coming back from what you have send out.
There have been many theories about the nature of our mind, the source and methods of thought forms. The pineal and pituitary glands play a big role in determining the stream of thoughts crossing our mind every minute. Is it possible to influence this steady stream? Of course, and this is where meditation is helpful. The more you practice some form of meditation, the more you have control over the flow of thought forms. It does get easier. In the beginning phase, the first time you try and sit calmly for a few minutes or more, your mind is still racing, it is full of randomness. But the more you set aside a time for meditation, and the more you really give your energy to meditation, the more you gradually see a reduction of these random thoughts. Then true power over your life comes into play. Praying is good and useful. Praying is you talking to God/Spirit/Universe. Mediation is allowing God/Spirit/Universe a chance to talk to you. Meditation opens not only your mind, but your heart center.
Now comes “words”. Learn to say things with meaning. Say things with a purpose. It seems easy, but we still need practice. Not only thoughts go out into space, but words are thoughts put into action. Words have double power. We have to retrain ourselves and establish a better pattern of speaking. All of the hollow words and promises remind me of politicians who seem to say whatever sounds good at the moment. Let God/Spirit/Universe be your guide to better your well-chosen words. Follow through on every good intention. Learn about real power behind every thought and word. Namaste,
